Whether you are reaching out for the first time for guidance, or are considering diving deeper, you are in the right place; I admire and welcome your consideration to improve your wellbeing!

Who I Am:

Hello! I am Angie! I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, wife, and mother. I am lucky to have grown up in Colorado and now call the

Northern Colorado area home since graduating from the University of Northern Colorado with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and then continuing my education at Colorado State University for my master’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Marriage in Family Therapy.

As a lifelong learner, I enjoy learning about our world, different cultures, and other people through travel, food, music, podcasts, movies and books. It has been my greatest and most difficult personal learning experience to become a parent myself - it is full of complexity, compassion, and courage! Whether my path has similarities to yours, or is wildly different, you can expect someone who will be curious about where you’ve been, where you are, and where you want to go on your life journey with support along the way.

In my practice, I aim to provide an inclusive space that allows for safety, self-awareness, healing, and growth. I approach each person I work with as an individual with unique strengths, while also recognizing patterns in thought, emotion, and behavior that may be getting in the way using an integrative therapy style based in family systems and trauma-based interventions.

With over a decade of experience as a therapist working with people across the lifespan and in a variety of settings, I am able to see the benefits of meaningful connection paired with effective tools to improve personal resiliency and increase fulfillment in your own life. My clinical focus specializes in assisting teens, mamas, couples, and families with concerns related to depression and mood challenges, anxiety, trauma in many forms, life transitions and stressors, women’s issues, and relationship difficulties.

With over 5 years of experience in neurotherapy, it is important for me to recognize brain development and how our nervous systems impact our responses to others and the world around us to promote deeper healing. Some of the techniques we may use together could include:

  • Solution Focused Therapy

  • Trauma-informed Practices

  • Motivational Interviewing

  • DBT-informed Interventions.

  • Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level II

  • Substance Use/Addiction Treatment Modalities

My clients have told me they appreciate my patience, honest feedback, and willingness to meet you where you are, while actively encouraging and promoting hope and change for the future so you can be your best self in whatever that may look like for you. I have a passion for working with those who may be ready to dig a little deeper, trust themselves a little more, and find meaning and connection within themselves, their relationships, and the world around them. If this sounds like you, I welcome you to reach out to see how I can assist you!

I am currently accepting Aetna, Optum/United Healthcare, and Cigna, as well as private pay. I cannot offer support to those qualifying for Medicaid or Medicare at this time. Please see the home page or the FAQ section for more details about insurance coverage and payment options.
